The Message Log

The Message Log contains all of the notifications you have received.

There are 2 ways to open a notification:

 

Double-click on the notification to open it.

 

Or

 

Select the notification in the Message Log and click Open.

 

The Clean Log button --

 

Clicking the Clean Log button will remove all notifications received and all share invitations that have already been handled (either accepted or declined). Share invitations that have not been handled yet will not be removed.

 

Below is an explanation of the different types of notifications:

 

Share Notifications

 

Share invitation

When you receive a share invitation the invitation will appear in the message log. For more information, see accepting an invitation to a shared folder.

Decline share

After declining a share invitation, all users in the share will receive notification of this in the message log.

Share removed

After removing a share, all users will receive a notification. See  canceling a synced or shared folderfor more information.

Join a share

When a user joins a share all users part of the share will receive notification of this in the message log.

Web Notifications

 

Web Login

Any time you log into the remote Web interface you will receive a notification of this with the time and date you logged in.

Web Logout

Any time you log out of the remote Web interface you will receive notification of this with the time and date you logged out.

System Notifications

 

Low disk space

When you have less than 100 MB of free disk space on your computers, you will receive a warning of this. BeInSync requires you to have at least 100 MB of free disk space on each one of your computers for it to run.

Corrupted Directory

When one of your directories (i.e. the BeInSync Folder, My Documents folder etc.) is corrupted you will receive a notification of this in the message log.
