The Taskbar Icon

In the taskbar of your computer you will see the BeInSync icon which indicates your connection status.

 

_img15 - This icon indicates that BeInSync is connected.  When BeInSync is connected your synced and shared folders will constantly be synchronized and be kept-up-to-date.   

 

_img16 - This icon indicates that BeInSync is disconnected.  When BeInSync is disconnected your synced and shared folders will not be synced and will not be kept up-to-date.

 

Right-clicking on the taskbar icon will present you with the following menu:

Offline/Online

Selecting Offline will disconnect you from other computers; however your local computer will still be connected to the BeInSync server to continue to receive logs.
 
After choosing Offline, the status bar in the BeInSync interface will read Not Connected and the BeInSync icon in the taskbar will become red. If at any stage you would like to re-login, choose the Online option from this menu.

Open

If BeInSync is running in the background of your computer clicking Open will open BeInSync and bring it to the forefront of your computer.

Close

Clicking Close will close the BeInSync application on your computer; however BeInSync will continue to run in the background of your computer, and your computers will continue to synchronize.

BeInSync Home

Click BeInSync Home to go to BeInSync's Web site.

Exit

This will close BeInSync and all its processes on your computer, your computers will no longer synchronize with each other and any changes you make while BeInSync is not running will not be synchronized and tracked by BeInSync.
