Sync modes

BeInSync offers two different synchronization modes for your synced or shared folders: Auto mode and manual mode.

The setting is defined per folder, per computer. For example, the mode for the same folder can be auto on computer #1 and manual on computer #2.

When a folder is set to auto mode, your files will automatically be updated.

When the folder is set to manual mode, your files will not automatically be updated; instead you must select sync now for each file in the folder. The synchronization mode is defined when you created the synced or shared folder.

The settings screen enables you to view and change the synchronization mode defined for the synced or shared folder.
