| 1. | Go to the unmapped folders section in the tree view, expand it and double-click the unmapped folder you would like to select the location for. |
| 2. | You will be prompted to select a location for the folder. |
| 3. | Choose the location for the folder. If you would like to create new directory for the folder click the New Folder button. When setting the location for My Documents or My Pictures BeInSync will suggest Windows’ default location. |
| 4. | The location that you choose will appear in the bottom of the dialog box. |
| 5. | Click OK and the folder will be created in the selected directory. |
| 6. | The folder will now move from the un-mapped folders section in the tree view to the synced or shared folders section in the tree view. |
BeInSync also offers the option to easily merge the contents of the folder with the contents of an existing directory on your remote computers.
