The temporary files folder contains files which are in the process of being uploaded or downloaded to your computer. Additionally, this folder contains BeInSync internal data files required for the operation of BeInSync. You may always change the location of this folder.
To Change the Temporary Files Location:
| 1. | Go to the temporary files location section. |
| 2. | Click the browse button. |
| 3. | A Windows Explorer dialog box will open, allowing you to browse a new location for your temporary files. Please note that the default location for the folder cannot be any of the following: My Documents, My Computer, volumes (e.g. A drive C drive, D drive), My Network Places, the current temporary files folder or any of its sub-directories. |
| 4. | Click OK. |
| 5. | You will receive a confirmation message asking you if you would like to change the location of the temporary files folder. |
| 6. | Click OK. |
| 7. | Click Restart Now to restart your computer and to move the location of the temporary files folder now. Click Restart Later to move the location of the temporary files folder the next time you restart your computer. |
| 8. | Following restart you will receive a dialog box informing you that the temporary files folder is scheduled to be moved. |
| 9. | Click Yes to move the temporary files folder. Click No if you do not want to move the folder. |
