GENERAL QUESTIONS
- What is BeInSync?
- BeInSync enables you to seamlessly access and use your latest data when and where you need it - at the office, from home or on the go. Using innovative secure Peer-to-Peer technology that automatically synchronizes all your devices (home PC, office PC, etc.); BeInSync ensures that wherever you go, your data will follow.
- How does BeInSync work?
- BeInSync utilizes a unique, secure, peer-to-peer technology, which networks all of the user's devices while automatically synchronizing files, emails, contacts and favorites across them.
For example, users may configure BeInSync so that any change made to their desktop will automatically be made on their other computers as well. Since your computers constantly synchronize, they become mirror images of each other. As such their data will always be accessible to you.
Users can also securely access their data remotely from a Web browser when on the go. Finally, BeInSync's architecture enables users to invite other people such as partners and colleagues to securely share data with them.

- What's unique about the BeInSync approach?
- BeInSync has several unique benefits:
Seamless Access
Since BeInSync automatically synchronizes the data on the user's different computers, users do not need to make a conscious effort of connecting and downloading remote files, as these are already locally available. The user can simply continue working on his or her data regardless of its physical location. Access to their files is possible even when an Internet connection is not available. Additionally, files may be securely and easily shared and kept in sync with other users.
Security & Privacy
All BeInSync communication is completely secure using strong 256-bit SSL encryption. Additionally, due to BeInSync's Peer-to-Peer architecture, the user's data never leaves his or her hands and is never placed on third-party servers. This is vital since countless users are extremely reluctant to place their files and data on third party servers.
Affordability
Since all BeInSync communication is Peer-to-Peer, costly centralized servers and hardware installation and maintenance are not required and the user does not need to pay a third party to store data. Additionally, the simple installation and operation of BeInSync makes IT support unnecessary, reducing the cost of ownership even further.
Crash Recovery
Since your data in BeInSync resides on several computers, should a crash occur to your hard drive or your Laptop get stolen, you have automatic backup of all of your data on your other computers.
